I loaded up the old suspect image on to another drive and ran the WGA tool and pasted the contents below. Also - there's really noĬhance of finding out how/where it was purchased as the parents aren't togther and really don't know comps at all. Before I go off and request telephone support, I wanted to check and get whatever info I can before going that route, is it licensed, not a trial, etc. The original version was the OEM but don't know for sure.

Should this be a trial key entered first? I'm guessing I downloaded the 2007 Standard Trial and when I enter the key, I see a message indicating its not valid.
I believe I got the key for it and recognize that it is Office 2007 Standard. Anyway, I have everything on the new drive working pretty good except Word. Because of the damage that occured originally, I don't consider this a usable copy. IĪctually took an image of the old drive that I restored to get information off it.

They have a new drive now courtesy of BestBuy and Best Buy did a minimal install of Windows 7.
Helping a friend's daughter and they don't seem to have any disks or information handy after the hard drive crashed on her Dell Inspiron 1440.
